A music composer / A software engineer / An artistic experimentalist
As a Software Developer
I am a software engineer with over 25 years of experience, ranging from start-up and freelance development to large-scale Internet services. From 2005 to 2023, I worked at one of the largest Internet companies in Japan, focusing on high-traffic distributed systems as a Product Architect and an Engineering Manager.
My work has focused on developing reliable and scalable systems. I am currently a Senior Software Engineer who specialize in Agile with Guardrails and AI-driven productivity enhancement.
As a Music Composer
I am also a composer with a background in classical training, self-taught guitar, and live performance.
In the late 1990s, I gained professional experience in composition, recording, and mixing, founded the MIDI audio stock site nerve-noise.space, and began paid composition work.
After a period of reduced activity due to a hearing-related illness, I gradually returned to music production and, since 2014, have been composing again on a contract basis for select clients.
In 2026, I am gradually restarting composing for myself.
